Being an programmer and blessed with some spare time..i like reading books
[This blog is becoming more like a 'this-is-what-i-read-stuff' ..doesn't it?]
anyway :-)
Right now i am reading Ayn Rand - Atlas Shrugged
Again recommended to me by my friend
I was looking for this book for almost 2-3 months
I bought it last week from a book market
Its a second hand book
Anyway till now what i have read it is an amazing book
It begins with
'Who is John Galt'
Ends with
"The road is cleared" said Galt. "We are going back to world." He raised his hand and over the desolate earth he traced
in space the sign of the dollar.
Its my habit to read the start and end of any book i pickup....If i seem to like it...then the book is worth reading..
Though this is not always true!!

Just Finished the Life of Pi!!
Amazing book
Especially the last 20 - 30 pages where Pi recites his story to Ship Authorities
Indirectly author puts 2 versions of the story and its upto the reader which one he believes or what is reality
It feels ...
it feels much like our view of GOD
What you would *like* to believe and what is the reality
It may sound like vague but just read that book
Do not download an ebook or an etext
just buy the book and read it
Do not borrow from your friend
just buy the book and read it
Do not read it as a novel
Read it like you use to do when you were a child
One who is reading because it tells him a story
read it for the story

If you ask me....i like the one with animals
P.S What next? well how about some hard core science fiction ..i m now reading Micheal Crichton - State of Fear

See what Yann has to say about writing this book
I read it while i travel my way to work and back which takes about an odd hour to do,
It is easy to grab the way Yann describes pecularities of each religion which Pi feels curious about.
It has two diffrent flows
..one as throught eye of Pi as he goes about his life
..and other through the eye of the author and how he goes about 'Life of Pi'
truly a diffrent book to read
btw [by the way..chat slang] the place where Yann have writtent the book, Matheran, is about 15 mins travel from my house....lets see might visit this place in coming weekends with some of my friends.....lets hope

Those are a lots of attributes applied to a single entity [a software geek would understand it in context of an ER model]
I was looking for a name for this blog
I wanted to called it 'Yogesh Jangam', but too possesive and who wants to visit and update themselves on 'Yogesh Jangam'
I wanted to called it 'Cubicle Nightmare', but its bad to remind anyone of their cubicles

So when you go around the web, you read about blog
what is a blog?
Why was it selected by Merriam-Webster as Word of the year 2004
Blog
As you might have read is a personal journal.
When you write a blog
you become a blogger....
what you are doing is
becomes blogging.
Why?
So why blog?
to tell something we know..
to know something we don't..
to express..
to say..
We being humans like to be in a society, or someone like to be a part and yet be alone.
Anyway blog enables us to write what we think,we feel, we know, ...well basically to write
There are things as audio blogs, but let me stick with writing
