I am just about to finish "The Historian" by Elizabeth Kostova
It was a great read and i'd recommend it to anyone who reads suspense, fiction.
It must have taken lots of research to write such a book and indeed is comparable to Da Vinci code. But is not as paced up, as fast as Da Vinci is.
